After several months of experimentation, we have upgraded our site to e107 content management system, which offers some additional security. Since our site predominantly serves youth, we are very serious about protecting them and the content of this site from hackers and uninvited guests.
Please sign up as a member so that you can access all the sections of the newly updated site. You will notice, among other things, that we have instituted "image verification" for signup and login. This is a minor inconvenience (we hope) but will avoid having web spiders and bots being able to post unacceptable content on our site.
If you have any news to post, as a member you will be able to do so. You can also upload photos much easier than before using our new Coppermine plugin. As I get a chance I'll add all the accumulated photos that have been previously posted to our site.
The last major component to upgrade is the calendar. It seems that no one has been able to create a decent event calendar with the ability to post events and handle recurring meetings, etc. I've set up a pretty easy to use (but limited) calendar plugin. Hopefully this will suffice until I get something better up on our page.
