Site Should Be Faster
I optimized the site today and it was still running sluggishly, so I repaired and cleaned up the database, got rid of extra large photos, etc. and it still was dog slow (over 1 minute average to load the home page).
Finally I contacted the hosting company and a few hours later they responded saying "your site is fine". Yes, they obviously reset something on the server because I have 3 different sites all sitting on the same server and suddenly all of them got faster.
You may have to reload the site one more time to get your local cache to update, but after that it should run pretty smoothly. Since I have a very fast connection both at home and work I may not see issues that you do. Please let me know if you experience any problems.
